About
From refugee to AI researcher
I came to the UK from Iraq as a refugee in 2009. Since then I have built a career in data engineering, and kept working with the communities that helped me get here.
I hold an MSc in Big Data and Business Intelligence (Distinction) and a BSc in Computer Science, both from the University of Greenwich. I am now starting a PhD on AI in healthcare and medicine.
The PhD runs three days a week. The other two are open for consulting, contract or part-time work. I bring SC clearance, government delivery experience, and day-to-day depth in AWS, Azure, Python and MLOps.
